Las nominaciones a la 98ª edición de los premios Oscar fueron anunciadas este jueves durante una ceremonia transmitida en vivo desde el Samuel Goldwyn Theater, en Los Ángeles, conducida por los actores Danielle Brooks y Lewis Pullman. La entrega de los Oscar 2026 se realizará el 15 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Hollywood, con Conan O’Brien como presentador de la gala.
La Academia de Ciencias y Artes Cinematográficas dio a conocer los nominados en dos tandas, cubriendo las 24 categorías que integran la premiación. Este año destaca la incorporación de una nueva categoría: Mejor reparto, que reconoce el trabajo colectivo del elenco. Cada rubro cuenta con cinco nominados, con excepción de Mejor película, que mantiene un máximo de diez aspirantes.
En el contexto histórico de la premiación, el récord de más nominaciones sigue siendo de 14, marca alcanzada por “Titanic”, “All About Eve” y “La La Land”.
