El pasado 5 de abril de 2025<\/strong><\/a>, Marcelino Abad Tolentino<\/strong>, conocido cari\u00f1osamente como “Mashico”<\/strong>, celebr\u00f3 su 125\u00ba cumplea\u00f1os<\/strong> en la casa hogar “Mis abuelitos”<\/strong>, ubicada en Hu\u00e1nuco, Per\u00fa<\/strong>. Nacido en 1900<\/strong> en Cochachinche<\/strong>, Hu\u00e1nuco, seg\u00fan los registros oficiales del pa\u00eds, “Mashico”<\/strong> ha llevado una vida marcada por la resiliencia, la conexi\u00f3n con la naturaleza y un inquebrantable esp\u00edritu de superaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

La vida de Marcelino Abad no fue f\u00e1cil. A los 7 a\u00f1os, qued\u00f3 hu\u00e9rfano, lo que lo oblig\u00f3 a comenzar a trabajar desde temprana edad. A lo largo de su vida, desempe\u00f1\u00f3 diversos oficios, entre ellos pe\u00f3n agr\u00edcola<\/strong> y alba\u00f1il<\/strong>, destac\u00e1ndose siempre por su fortaleza y dedicaci\u00f3n. Durante m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, se dedic\u00f3 al cultivo de frutas y hortalizas, actividad que considera fundamental para su longevidad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Su relaci\u00f3n con la tierra y los ciclos naturales son un pilar en su vida, y es un claro ejemplo de c\u00f3mo la conexi\u00f3n con la naturaleza puede influir positivamente en el bienestar f\u00edsico y mental.<\/p>\n

Un reconocimiento oficial y apoyo del Estado<\/strong><\/h3>\n

En 2019, “Mashico”<\/strong>\u00a0recibi\u00f3 su Documento Nacional de Identidad (DNI)<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s del programa Pensi\u00f3n 65<\/strong>, el cual le permiti\u00f3 acceder a servicios estatales<\/strong> y una pensi\u00f3n<\/strong> que mejor\u00f3 su calidad de vida. Desde entonces, reside en la casa hogar “Mis abuelitos”<\/strong>, un espacio que brinda atenci\u00f3n y cuidado a los adultos mayores de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Este apoyo estatal es clave para su bienestar, permiti\u00e9ndole disfrutar de sus \u00faltimos a\u00f1os rodeado de afecto y atenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Posible r\u00e9cord mundial de longevidad<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Aunque los registros oficiales peruanos sit\u00faan el nacimiento de “Mashico”<\/strong> en 1900, su edad no es verificada a nivel internacional. Si la informaci\u00f3n se confirma<\/strong>, Marcelino Abad\u00a0superar\u00eda el r\u00e9cord de longevidad<\/strong> establecido por Jeanne Calment<\/strong>, quien vivi\u00f3 122 a\u00f1os y 164 d\u00edas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Si la comunidad cient\u00edfica valida estos datos, Marcelino Abad se convertir\u00eda en el hombre m\u00e1s longevo de la historia, un logro que lo catapultar\u00eda a la fama mundial.<\/p>\n
