Puebla <\/strong>se encuentra en el quinto lugar entre los principales estados mexicanos que env\u00edan migrantes a Estados Unidos<\/strong>, de acuerdo con el Anuario de Migraci\u00f3n y Remesas M\u00e9xico 2025, elaborado por BBVA y el Consejo Nacional de Poblaci\u00f3n (Conapo). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2022<\/strong>, un total de 43,759 poblanos solicitaron la matr\u00edcula consular, un documento que les permite identificarse oficialmente, abrir cuentas bancarias, realizar tr\u00e1mites y acceder a servicios p\u00fablicos en Estados Unidos<\/strong>. Esta cifra representa el 7.7%<\/strong> del total de tr\u00e1mites realizados a nivel nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or\u00edgenes y destinos de los migrantes poblanos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Del total de registros, 15,538<\/strong> correspondieron a mujeres y 28,212 a hombres<\/strong>. Dentro de Puebla<\/strong>, la mayor cantidad de migrantes proviene de la capital, con un 8%<\/strong> de las matr\u00edculas expedidas. Le siguen Atlixco <\/strong>con 5.9%<\/strong>, Iz\u00facar de Matamoros<\/strong> con 4.5%<\/strong>, Tehuac\u00e1n<\/a><\/strong> con 2.6%<\/strong> y San Pedro Cholula<\/strong> con 2.4%<\/strong>. Estas zonas destacan como los principales focos migratorios dentro del estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cuanto a su destino en Estados Unidos<\/strong>, los migrantes poblanos con matr\u00edcula consular se concentran principalmente en California (27.9%)<\/strong>, seguida por Nueva York (18.1%)<\/strong>, New Jersey (10.7%), Illinois (6.7%) y Texas (5.4%)<\/strong>. A nivel nacional, m\u00e1s de la mitad de los migrantes mexicanos con matr\u00edcula consular vive en California<\/a>, Texas e Illinois.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Perfil laboral y situaci\u00f3n socioecon\u00f3mica<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El informe revela que el 68%<\/strong> de los migrantes mexicanos se emplean en el sector terciario o de servicios, el 33.3%<\/strong> trabaja en el sector secundario, principalmente en la industria manufacturera, y solo el 5.5%<\/strong> se dedica a actividades agr\u00edcolas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin embargo, la migraci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n enfrenta retos econ\u00f3micos importantes: en 2024<\/strong>, alrededor de 6.6 millones<\/strong> de personas de origen mexicano en Estados Unidos<\/strong> viv\u00edan en situaci\u00f3n de pobreza. Esto incluye un 17.3% <\/strong>de la primera generaci\u00f3n, 17.1% <\/strong>de la segunda y 14.3%<\/strong> de la tercera, lo que refleja las dificultades sociales que a\u00fan enfrentan estas comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nivel nacional, los estados que m\u00e1s migrantes concentran en t\u00e9rminos de matr\u00edcula consular incluyen a Michoac\u00e1n, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Guanajuato, Jalisco y Veracruz, adem\u00e1s de Puebla<\/strong>.
