La Biblioteca Palafoxiana<\/strong>, reconocida por la UNESCO<\/a> como Memoria del Mundo<\/strong>, abri\u00f3 una sala permanente y otra temporal en conmemoraci\u00f3n de sus 20 a\u00f1os con este t\u00edtulo<\/strong>. El arquitecto Francisco L\u00f3pez Morales<\/a><\/strong>, quien lider\u00f3 el proceso de nominaci\u00f3n ante la UNESCO, destac\u00f3 la importancia de proteger el conocimiento en una era donde lo digital tiende a simplificar <\/strong>y acelerar la informaci\u00f3n. Las nuevas salas buscan acercar el acervo hist\u00f3rico a un p\u00fablico m\u00e1s amplio<\/strong>, no solo en Puebla, sino a nivel global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuevas salas de la Palafoxiana miran al futuro<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Francisco L\u00f3pez Morales<\/strong>, director em\u00e9rito de Patrimonio Mundial del INAH<\/a><\/strong>, calific\u00f3 la apertura como “un acierto absoluto”<\/strong> por su valor educativo y cultural. La sala permanente,\u00a0La Puebla de Palafox y la inspiraci\u00f3n Escurialense<\/strong>, rinde homenaje al obispo Juan de Palafox<\/strong>, fundador de la primera biblioteca p\u00fablica en Am\u00e9rica. Por su parte, la sala temporal,\u00a0Los 20 libros que revolucionaron a la Humanidad, exhibe obras fundamentales como\u00a0Las Cr\u00f3nicas de N\u00faremberg\u00a0y textos de Cop\u00e9rnico<\/strong>, muchos de ellos nunca antes mostrados al p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josefina Farf\u00e1n Ortega<\/strong>, directora de Museos Puebla, resalt\u00f3 que este proyecto se realiz\u00f3 con “asesor\u00eda, orden y vocaci\u00f3n”<\/strong>, incluyendo tambi\u00e9n una Sala L\u00fadica y un taller de restauraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Fabi\u00e1n Valdivia, curador de las exposiciones, explic\u00f3 que estas iniciativas permiten redescubrir el legado de Palafox<\/strong> y entender c\u00f3mo los libros moldearon el pensamiento global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un acervo que conecta pasado y presente<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Entre las joyas exhibidas destacan incunables como\u00a0Los 15 libros de los Elementos\u00a0de Euclides y\u00a0El Martirio de las brujas<\/strong>, junto con obras cient\u00edficas y filos\u00f3ficas que llegaron a Puebla en el siglo XVII. La Palafoxiana resguarda nueve incunables<\/strong>, siendo uno de los recintos m\u00e1s importantes de Am\u00e9rica Latina en patrimonio bibliogr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La UNESCO otorg\u00f3 el reconocimiento Memoria del Mundo en 2005<\/strong>, destacando su papel en la preservaci\u00f3n del conocimiento.
