San Francisco Totimehuac\u00e1n<\/strong> sigue sin recibir respuesta del gobierno municipal, pese a que el compromiso de convertirla en el municipio 218 de Puebla<\/strong> fue una de las promesas principales en campa\u00f1a. Hasta ahora, el alcalde capitalino, Pepe Chedraui<\/a><\/strong>, ha dejado pasar el tiempo sin convocar al cabildo ni iniciar el tr\u00e1mite correspondiente.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el arranque de la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de la carretera Totimehuac\u00e1n\u2013Tetela<\/strong>, el gobernador Alejandro Armenta<\/a> <\/strong>retom\u00f3 el tema y pidi\u00f3 dar cumplimiento a lo pactado. \u201cLa palabra vale. Los compromisos se cumplen\u201d<\/strong>, dijo ante vecinos y funcionarios, al recordar que esta demanda ciudadana no es reciente y ya se hab\u00eda planteado desde 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El alcalde guarda silencio mientras Totimehuac\u00e1n cumple los requisitos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Totimehuac\u00e1n <\/strong>cuenta con los elementos legales para convertirse en municipio. Supera los 25 mil habitantes, tiene identidad hist\u00f3rica y la capacidad econ\u00f3mica para sostener una administraci\u00f3n local<\/strong>. Aun as\u00ed, el ayuntamiento no ha dado un solo paso para formalizar el proceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gobernador explic\u00f3 que este proyecto tiene sustento jur\u00eddico, pues Totimehuac\u00e1n <\/strong>ya fue municipio en el pasado antes de ser absorbido por Puebla capital<\/strong>. Por ello, llam\u00f3 a no dejarlo como una simple promesa electoral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desconexi\u00f3n con la ciudadan\u00eda y falta de visi\u00f3n incluyente<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e1s temprano, durante la inauguraci\u00f3n del Smart City Expo LATAM Congress, Chedraui<\/strong> present\u00f3 un mensaje de bienvenida en varios idiomas extranjeros, pero omiti\u00f3 el n\u00e1huatl<\/strong>. Aunque el evento promov\u00eda la inclusi\u00f3n y el desarrollo sostenible, el alcalde pas\u00f3 por alto uno de los elementos culturales m\u00e1s representativos de las comunidades originarias del estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
