El crimen se trat\u00f3 de un ataque directo y en pleno evento masivo. La fiesta se termin\u00f3 y el olor a muerte recorri\u00f3 no solo a la comunidad, sino a todo M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde temprana hora las autoridades se reunieron con la <strong>presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum<\/strong>. All\u00ed se establecieron las primeras conversaciones y presentaci\u00f3n de resultados por la privaci\u00f3n de la vida del presidente municipal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-como-fue-el-asesinato-de-carlos-manzo\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo fue el asesinato de Carlos Manzo?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente municipal asisti\u00f3 a la inauguraci\u00f3n del Festival de Velas en el centro de Uruapan, Michoac\u00e1n. Rodeado de la gente e incluso su familia, fue atacado a balazos por dos delincuentes que se escabulleron entre la ciudadan\u00eda. El pol\u00edtico fue trasladado a un hospital, donde falleci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dentro del intercambio de fuego se report\u00f3 que los elementos de seguridad abatieron a uno de los agresores, quien al parecer muri\u00f3 en el trayecto al hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-que-dijo-omar-garcia-harfuch-por-el-asesinato-del-alcalde-de-uruapan\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 dijo Omar Garc\u00eda Harfuch por el asesinato del alcalde de Uruapan?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>el secretario federal <strong>Omar Garc\u00eda Harfuch<\/strong> confirm\u00f3 que el edil contaba con <strong>protecci\u00f3n federal desde diciembre de 2024<\/strong>, bajo un esquema de seguridad reforzado que inclu\u00eda a fuerzas municipales y federales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Su seguridad estaba a cargo de polic\u00edas municipales y de la Guardia Nacional de 14 elementos, adem\u00e1s de dos veh\u00edculos oficiales<\/strong>\u201d, precis\u00f3 Garc\u00eda Harfuch, al detallar que en mayo pasado se incrementaron las medidas de resguardo ante posibles amenazas.
