Mart\u00edn Borrego Llorente<\/a> present\u00f3 su renuncia a la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat)<\/a> luego de que se revelara que utiliz\u00f3 su posici\u00f3n como servidor p\u00fablico para gestionar la realizaci\u00f3n de su boda privada en el Museo Nacional de Arte (MUNAL). El hecho gener\u00f3 cr\u00edticas al considerar que Borrego habr\u00eda aprovechado su cargo para obtener beneficios indebidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La pol\u00e9mica<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La controversia surgi\u00f3 a ra\u00edz de un reportaje del periodista Claudio Ochoa Huerta, en el que se dio a conocer que el pasado 4 de octubre Borrego, entonces Coordinador de Contacto con la Ciudadan\u00eda en la Semarnat, celebr\u00f3 su boda con Ionut V\u00e2lcu, miembro de la Embajada de Rumania en M\u00e9xico, en el MUNAL. La ceremonia coincidi\u00f3 con un acto oficial para conmemorar el 89 aniversario de las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas entre M\u00e9xico y Rumania, lo que suscit\u00f3 se\u00f1alamientos sobre el uso indebido de espacios p\u00fablicos para fines personales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La renuncia de la Semarnat<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

En su carta de dimisi\u00f3n, Borrego afirm\u00f3 que su renuncia es “voluntaria, con car\u00e1cter de irrevocable y efectos inmediatos”. Admiti\u00f3 que fue inapropiado gestionar el evento utilizando un correo institucional mientras ejerc\u00eda su cargo como jefe de oficina en la Semarnat, pero defendi\u00f3 que el evento fue de car\u00e1cter privado y costeado con recursos personales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReconozco que fue impropio haber solicitado el espacio a trav\u00e9s de un correo institucional\u2026 sin dolo ni quebranto alguno al erario\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, escribi\u00f3. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

En su misiva, agreg\u00f3 que la decisi\u00f3n de realizar el evento en el MUNAL se ajust\u00f3 al protocolo establecido por el recinto y reiter\u00f3 que no hubo afectaci\u00f3n a los recursos p\u00fablicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reacciones<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La titular de la Semarnat, Alicia B\u00e1rcena Ibarra, no ha emitido un posicionamiento p\u00fablico al respecto. Sin embargo, la renuncia de Borrego ha generado diversas reacciones en redes sociales y entre figuras p\u00fablicas, quienes exigen mayores controles sobre el uso de recursos y espacios p\u00fablicos por parte de funcionarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
